Professor Noam Chomsky gave the keynote address at the fifteenth anniversary of the publication, Covert Action Quarterly. In his speech, he was critical of U.S. foreign policy and the language of defense and diplomatic affairs. Topics included capitalism, free trade, the free market future, China, Iran, nuclear weapons, U.S. support for Saddam Hussein, class warfare, NAFTA, the Propaganda Model, democracy, taxes in the U.S. and Canada, social engineering projects, social change, the labor movement, U.S. democracy promotion, North Korea, social disintegration, and nuclear proliferation.
