An Interview with Benjamin Spock, Author of "Baby and Child Care" (1982)

Dr. Benjamin Spock's name became universally known after his book "Baby and Child Care" was published, selling 26 million copies and being translated into 26 languages. Dr. Spock also is famous for his anti-war struggles from the l960s onwards. He reveals many little-known facts: why he wrote his book; how he became involved in the anti-war movement; his being sentenced to two years in jail; his relationship with Lyndon Johnson; his socialist beliefs; and his experiences in running for U.S. President.
